Old bay windows replaced with the correct load-bearing posts and jacks, not just propped and hoped.
Gently curved bow windows that add light and a feeling of space to the front of the house.
Georgian bars, sash-look frames and heritage colours for older properties and conservation streets.
Bays carry roof load. We assess and support the structure properly so nothing moves after we leave.
Almost always, yes. Dropped bays are common where the original installer removed load-bearing frames without fitting proper support. We jack, support and rebuild the bay correctly as part of the replacement.
Replacing an existing bay like-for-like almost never needs permission. Adding a new bay to a flat elevation can do, particularly in conservation areas, and we will tell you honestly at the survey if yours does.
A bay is usually three flat frames set at angles, a bow is a gentler curve made of more, narrower frames. Bays suit most semis and terraces, bows suit wider frontages, and we fit both.
